This is beautiful-- and a good illustration of the hidden world of the child. We all need to remember what it is like to be a kid, skating out there all by yourself, in the land of Lord of the Flies, where adults can't help and kids attack what is vulnerable and even slightly different. The plight of homeless LGBT kids breaks my heart-- and Tyler Clementi's story is not forgotten, as it is illustrated here, by many. Beautiful.

My dream and goal for America is to see the kind of democracy in action everywhere that is being displayed in Wisconsin. It is unfathomable to me that American parents are permitting a campaign of wide-spread child abuse by governments. Larger class sizes, cutting the arts and libraries, fewer well-trained, highly paid teachers, more standardized testing-- WHERE IS THE WIDE-SPREAD OUTRAGE? Why aren't parents marching in the streets, organizing, striking, FIGHTING?
